One road that never ends.
Needs a keyboard, so it's best played on a computer.
One road that never ends, through autumn highlands, golden plains and red canyon. Hold the slide, build the multiplier, and see how far you can carry it.
Switch between automatic and manual gears and between 2WD and 4WD, try different cars, and use photo mode to grab the perfect shot.
Features.
- Each page load builds a new road from a random seed: straights and 30 to 60 degree bends, laid out so it never crosses itself.
- From the Autumn Highlands the road runs into the snowy Frozen Pass, the Golden Plains with their hay bales, and the Red Canyon's cacti and mesas, then repeats.
- A day runs from dawn through golden hour to night in 10 minutes by default (2 to 30 in Settings); headlights and street lamps come on at sunset.
- Press N to swap between two cars: a red one with twin exhausts, and a blue one with a single pipe and a 20 cm shorter wheelbase.
- A gamepad works too: the left stick steers, the right trigger accelerates, the left trigger brakes and the bottom face button pulls the handbrake.
- Counter-steer assist, on from the start, turns the front wheels into a slide and backs off as you steer harder; press B to switch it off.
How to play.
- Press Drive and get up to speed.
- Throw the car sideways with the handbrake and hold the slide to build your multiplier.
- Chain long drifts for a big score. Press R to respawn if you get stuck.
Controls.
- Keyboard
- W or ↑ for throttle, S or ↓ to brake and reverse, A and D or the arrows to steer, Space for handbrake, Shift and Ctrl to change gear, T for auto or manual, V for 2WD or 4WD, N for the next car, C to change camera, P for photo mode, R to respawn, B for steering assist, H to hide the HUD, M to mute
Tips for Infinite Drift.
- Your multiplier rises by 0.5 for every 2.2 seconds you stay sideways, up to ×8. Faster, more sideways slides score more, and below about 29 km/h nothing counts.
- A drift banks only after 0.8 seconds out of the slide. Flick from one bend into the next within that time and the chain and multiplier keep going.
- Hitting a barrier, tyre stack or pole, running more than half a metre past the kerb, spinning past 100 degrees or dropping below 14 km/h loses the drift. The multiplier badge turns red past 78 degrees.
- R puts you back on the centre-line, stopped and facing the right way, but wipes any drift in progress. Straighten up briefly to bank it first; your score is kept.
- The automatic only changes down below 2,600 rpm. In manual (T), drop a gear before a bend to keep the revs up, and change up when the gear number turns red.

Infinite Drift FAQ.
Can I play Infinite Drift on a phone or tablet?
Not by touch. There are no on-screen controls, so you need a keyboard or a gamepad. It also needs a browser with WebGL 2.
Does Infinite Drift save my score or settings?
No. The game stores nothing between visits. Your score, best drift, distance, paint colour and graphics settings all reset when you reload the page.
How does photo mode work in Infinite Drift?
Press P while driving. The car brakes to a stop and the HUD hides. Move the camera with W, A, S and D, look with the arrows, and rise or drop with Q and E. Press P to drive on.
Why is Infinite Drift slow to start?
The first load builds the shaders, which can take ten seconds or more. The game then times itself for about ten seconds and picks a quality level; change it with O while driving.
Infinite Drift is free to play online, with no download or sign-up. Updated .
